Bio Information on Trinene Davis

Who:
Trinene Davis - Is a single mother and is retired from the state of CT. She has worked with children for over 20 years, and is presently a Children Book Author/Independant Presenter with her newly created and developed programs in Bullying, Children's and Families Literacy Program, and Parents Groups for Bullying. She continues to work with children by facilitating presentations such as Bully Proof, Tough Guise and Healthy Relationships in the school systems, community programs and in juvenile justice system throughout the Hartford Region. Trinene holds a Dual Bachelor Degree in Criminal Justice/Sociology, an Associates Degree in Communications and is a Certified Sexual Assault Crisis Counselor. She has recently started her own business Treasures By Trinene and Soul Purpose. Trinene is a member of The Greater New Britain Arts Alliance.

How:
The book titled My Sunny Day came about when Trinene had suffered a serious illness at the young age of 37 and then had her 1st child at 38. Due to her medical condition Trinene was inspired and compelled to write a story about her daughter so that she could leave her daughter a legacy to treasure. She added her niece in the story because the two were more than just cousins they were like sisters. It was about making choices, imagination and family love. Trinene would read this story to her daughter and her niece and their little friends and they would just love it. They would laugh and recite the words and ask her to read it again over and over again. That's when Trinene realized that this was something really special that needed to be told and in a book form.

Why:
Anyone that really knows Trinene knows that family is the very essence of her soul. Family in her book is everything. Trinene is very thankful that she had a very unquie family up bringing. She owes it all to her mother and father. This is a story where three brothers married three sisters and produce double blooded 1st cousins. Where aunts and uncles was also like her mother and father and cousins was like her siblings. One big happy family filled with alot of love, togetherness, traditions, beliefs and oh yeah fights. Because of this it's not hard to see why she wrote a book about her daughter and niece and named her business Treasures By Trinene. Her family and every little thing she do is a reflection of her treasures.
